Sophie Perreard
CEO and Director
Coach, Trainer, Evaluator
Sophie is a coach, mentor, pracademic and facilitator of knowledge specialised in leadership enhancement. She thrives on supporting individuals with their authentic personal and leadership growth. Sophie has a particular passion for working alongside and encouraging women to increase their potential, maximise their impact and lead with greater confidence. She loves co-creating inspiring and impactful projects while coaching and mentoring individuals worldwide. She considers herself a facilitator of knowledge who helps individuals and teams enhance their leadership skills and competencies to reach their higher potential.
Sophie combines over twenty five years of experience working with people on leadership, strategic management, course and training design and delivery in cross-cultural environments. She has worked for over 13 years as a senior humanitarian worker in West and Central Africa, East Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, the Caribbean, the US, Europe and eight years as an Academic in Australia. Sophie is bilingual French-English and has knowledge of Arabic and Spanish. She is Hogan and Mental Health First Aid Certified and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Sophie is French and has lived in many countries before moving to Australia in 2013 and calling it her home. She now lives in Adelaide, South Australia, one of the most welcoming and beautiful place. Sophie likes discovering and supporting local artists and local community groups, long walks on the beach. She puts into practice what she believes in: finding the right balance and seizing any opportunity to grow and develop.
Professional fields of interest include strength based coaching and mentoring, leadership capacity enhancement, change management, gender equality, women empowerment, and social justice.
Dr Phil Connors
Principal and Director

To inspire learning in and with people so they can be their best authentic selves’
Phil is a passionate trainer, educator, facilitator, coach, mentor and pracademic focused on leadership enhancement. He has a genuine interest for creating and developing cutting edge training approaches and techniques to help people grow and become their best authentic selves. Phil is a fervent advocate for social and climate justice, and he believes that investing in growing people’s potential is the best way to influence positive change.
Phil holds a PhD in Community Economic Development and has more than 30 years of experience in practice, teaching and researching community participation and leadership across many contexts. As a social worker, Phil has worked with at risk young people in some of the most remote communities in Australia and in a politician’s office. As a pracademic (Academic Practitioner), Phil collaborated and supported many individuals and organisations around the world in identifying and implementing tools to transform their leadership, teams and organisations for better impact.
Phil’s expertise and research interests lie in exploring the role of leadership in advancing sustainability. Following his growing interest in the impact of development and humanitarian aid on local populations, Phil has authored several journal articles, book, and book chapters and reports on community development, transformative change and localisation. Phil is Hogan certified, Co-Active Coaching Practitionner and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Phil lives in Adelaide, Australia and is a keen runner and mindfulness practitioner who enjoys working with wood and renovating heritage timber houses.
Professional fields of interest include authentic, systemic transformational leadership training, coaching and mentoring, impact evaluation, diversity and power dynamics, gender equity, social and climate justice.

Our Collaborators

Uma Narayanan
Coach, Trainer, Evaluator
Uma is an enthusiastic Human Resource (HR), organisational development (OD) and accountability expert for medium to large-scale organisations in the humanitarian and development sector. She is a highly skilled advisor, coach, trainer and mentor for Human Resources teams, senior management, and diverse leadership teams. Uma can comfortably work with and adapt to various cultural, economic, linguistic, and religious environments. She has a passion to see people grow and contributes to it by building local, national and regional capacity in various ways.
Uma has a background in International Organisational and Systems Development and worked as an Organisation Development and Human Resources practitioner mostly in Southeast Asia and South Asia for two decades. In her OD and HR capacity, she has carried out numerous assignments on program reviews, evaluations, and organisational assessments, as well as supporting the restructuring process of organisations. As a Facilitator, Uma has organised, designed, contextualised, co-facilitated and facilitated over 350 workshops and training sessions (online and face to face) both locally, regionally, and internationally for various organisations.
Uma is committed to quality and accountability and is a Sphere and Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) trainer and advisor. She also assists organisations in conducting HR related and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) related investigations.
Uma is a Malaysian resident and speaks English, Malay, Tamil and Malayalam. She cherishes time with her loved ones and visits the yoga mat frequently to maintain balance in her life.
Professional field of interest includes people management, leadership, organisational development, accountability, investigations, evaluation, training, coaching and mentoring.
Christine Dawson
Administration and Events Coordinator
Christine is an experienced administrator and project coordinator with solid administration and organisational skills. These skills have enabled her to work in increasingly challenging roles throughout her 13 years of experience in administration, project management, and student services in the tertiary education sector in Australia and overseas.
Christine is experienced in planning and delivering premier events, providing high-level administrative support to teams, developing new systems, and streamlining processes to ensure efficient operations in fast-paced organisational environments.
Christine is fluent in Chinese-Cantonese and English and has knowledge of Spanish. She has significant experience working in several multicultural environments; has travelled, studied, worked, and volunteered in different countries.
Christine lives in Melbourne, Australia; she loves reading, swimming, and spending time with her young family.
Professional field of interest includes event and project management, database management, team management and office administration.
