Sophie Perreard and Dr Phil Connors are the heart and soul of Elevate, a company they launched in 2021 to shake up the world of leadership and coaching.
Phil, with his background in youth work and Sophie, with her experience in humanitarian aid, saw a chance to change how people learn to lead. They combined their experience to create Elevate, a company that goes beyond theory. It’s all about practical, real-world skills that help people lead with authenticity and embrace their unique strengths.
Elevate’s programs quickly became recognised across multiple sectors for their impact. Participants didn’t just gain knowledge- they transformed. They walked away with a new sense of purpose and confidence, ready to face any challenge with their strength and adaptability. Organisations and teams saw 180 shifts in their behaviour and productivity.
Elevate is still going strong, and Sophie and Phil are excited to keep pushing boundaries with their collaborators. Their mission? To ignite the potential in countless more individuals and organisations, helping them reach new heights!

Sophie Perreard
DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER
Director, Coach, Facilitator, EvaluatorSophie is dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to achieve authentic leadership growth with impactful results. She is especially passionate about helping women unlock their full potential, maximise their impact, and lead with increased confidence.
As an ICF PCC-accredited coach, former pracademic in tertiary education specialising in leadership enhancement, and humanitarian director, Sophie brings over 25 years of experience in leadership, strategic management, and learning design and delivery in cross-cultural and complex environments. She is bilingual in French and English and Hogan- and Mental Health First Aid-certified.
Sophie has lived in Africa, South-East Asia, the Middle East, and the US before moving to Australia in 2013, where she now calls Henley Beach, South Australia, home. She enjoys discovering and supporting local artists and community groups, and values long walks on the beach.
Committed to finding balance and seizing opportunities for growth, Sophie’s professional interests include organisational ethics and culture, strategy development, leadership development, women's empowerment, gender equality and social justice.

Dr Phillip Connors
PRINCIPAL AND FOUNDER
Coach, Facilitator, Trainer & EvaluatorPhil is a passionate trainer, educator, coach, mentor, and pracademic focused on leadership enhancement. With a PhD in Community Economic Development and over 30 years of experience, he develops cutting-edge training approaches to help people become their best authentic selves.
An advocate for social and climate justice, Phil believes in investing in people's potential to drive positive change. He has worked with at-risk youth in remote Australian communities, collaborated with organisations globally, and authored several publications on community development and transformative change. Phil is Hogan certified, a Co-Active Coaching Practitioner, and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Living in Adelaide, Australia, Phil is a keen runner and mindfulness practitioner who enjoys working with wood and renovating heritage timber houses.
Phil’s professional fields of interests include authentic, systemic transformational leadership training, coaching and mentoring, impact evaluation, diversity and power dynamics, gender equity, and social and climate justice.

Christine Dawson
COLLABORATOR
Administration and Events CoordinatorChristine is an experienced administrator and project coordinator with 13 years in administration, project management, and student services in the tertiary education sector in Australia and overseas. Her solid administration and organisational skills have enabled her to excel in increasingly challenging roles, planning and delivering premier events, providing high-level administrative support, and streamlining processes for efficient operations in fast-paced environments.
Fluent in Chinese-Cantonese and English, with knowledge of Spanish, Christine has significant experience in multicultural environments, having traveled, studied, worked, and volunteered in different countries. Living in Melbourne, Australia, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her young family.
Christine’s professional fields of interests include event and project management, database management, team management, and office administration.
